What I wish someone told me before I bought baby clothes:
1. NO SNAPS! At 2am, a snap is impossible! 2-way Zippers, magnetic me
2. Swaddle choice. Swaddles come in different weights. Having a summer baby? Get bamboo or breathable fabrics. January baby? Fleece or flannel.
3. HANDS FREE! Let baby keep their hands free! You can definitely cover when it’s cold, but baby having access to their hands helps them learn to self soothe, develops their self feeding skills, supports sensory development and supports their immune system! (just keep finger nails short and trimmed)
4. NO SHOES! (or very soft shoes) Fat little baby feet need to be free to help infants learn spatial awareness, balance and stability.
Make life easier for yourself every step of the way with a newborn.
